The public InstantPlayer currently only supports the VRML EAI interface. It does not yet support the new X3D Scene Access Interface (SAI).
The EAI is available for Java and for programming languages based on the Microsoft .NET Common Language Infrastructure (CLI), like C#, Visual Basic, C++/CLI, J# and JScript.
